Premium ASSAB hot work die steel with exceptional combination of hot strength and ductility. Higher molybdenum content (~2.3%) enhances elevated temperature performance for demanding large precision die casting dies. Quenching at 1020-1050°C.
Applications
Large precision die casting cores, high-temperature hot extrusion dies, high-stress hot forging dies, premium automotive component molds.
