Website analytics and privacy
We use first-party website analytics to understand page popularity and operate the website. Page views, approximate browser and device type, referral hostname, access time, and server-observed IP addresses are recorded. We do not infer a person's identity from an IP address.
A random first-party visitor identifier is stored in your browser for up to 90 days. If browser storage is unavailable, visits are recorded with an unknown visitor identifier; IP addresses are not used as visitor identities. You can clear this identifier in your browser's site data settings.
Identifiable analytics details are retained for up to 90 days, anonymous daily totals for one year, and cumulative page-view counts and identifier-only event deduplication hashes for longer. Exact unique visitor and IP counts are unavailable outside the retained detail period. Only authorized administrators can view analytics details and full IP addresses.
Analytics omit URL queries, fragments, form contents and cookie values. Browser page views and server request logs are separate metrics. Script blocking, disabled JavaScript or network failures can cause page views to be missed. Analytics failures do not prevent you from using the website.
