Introduction
German standard Ni-Cr-Mo-V hammer forging die steel (55NiCrMoV7) with excellent toughness and hardenability. Suitable for large hot forging dies. Similar to 5CrNiMo but with better overall performance. Quenching at 840-880°C.
Applications
Large hammer forging dies, hot trimming dies, hot punches, high-toughness large dies, die casting machine components.
