Improved SKD11 with optimized alloy composition (reduced Cr, increased Mo), significantly enhanced toughness and fatigue resistance. Excellent dimensional stability after heat treatment with reduced cracking. Service life greatly exceeds SKD11. Quenching at 1020-1040°C.
Applications
Precision cold work dies, cold forging dies, IC packaging molds, thread rolling plates, precision stamping dies, metal powder forming dies.
