Introduction
High carbon high chromium cold work die steel equivalent to D2 grade. Higher Mo and V content than Cr12MoV. Suitable for heavy-duty cold work dies requiring high wear resistance. Quenching at 980-1040°C.
Applications
Heavy-duty blanking dies, cold extrusion dies, powder metallurgy molds, high-wear cold work parts, drawing dies.
